Creative Learning Corporation Completes Name Change, Receives California Franchise Approval.
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla., Aug 02, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) - The Florida-based developer and franchisor of
Bricks 4 Kidz(R), a fast-growing children's learning and activity program, has officially changed its name to Creative Learning Corporation from B2 Health, Inc, and will continue to trade with the symbol BTWO.PK, according to the Company.
Bricks 4 Kidz(R) was created in 2008 and has developed a highly successful after-school program using LEGO(R) bricks for numerous children's activities - including after-school classes, birthday parties, camps and child-care.
The Company plans to expand its operations with the opening of a number of new Company-owned and operated Creativity Centers. These retail outlets will serve as the central location for the various LEGO(R) activities, as well as the retail sales of LEGO(R) products. The Company plans to open Creativity Centers in Florida, Arizona, Nevada and three popular Colorado ski areas--Breckenridge, Keystone and Copper Mountain.
Company president Brian J. Pappas stated that, "With our new public trading status and the increased access to capital to fund our aggressive growth plans, we believe Creative Learning Corporation is positioned to achieve exceptional growth, both in our corporate-owned operations and in the continued expansion of our franchise program."
Additionally, Steven T. Menscher has been elected to serve on the Company's Board of Directors. Mr. Menscher is an attorney and private investor from Aspen, Colorado.
The Company also announced that it has been approved by the State of California for the sale of the
Bricks 4 Kidz(R)
franchise program in the state. "This is an important development for our franchise operation, as it will allow us to penetrate a large and attractive geographic area that is ideal for our business model, " stated Pappas.
Since its introduction, the
Bricks 4 Kidz franchises have been extremely popular with children, educators and parents. Franchisees are now operating in twelve states and one foreign country.
