A little over a year ago now myself and one of my best friends came up with the idea of combining the benefits of an infrared sauna and isometrics while sipping rum drinks in Negril, Jamaica.  Since that time, Planet Beach has developed the Hot Box Detox sauna for 30 minute isometric detox sessions.  In the brief time that our customers have now been using it, the results have been amazing.  In a recent session I burned 537 calories in 30 minutes as measured with my Apple Watch.  A virtual instructor leads you through a warm-up, 14 isometric postures and then a cool down.  You can literally hear the sweat dripping off of your body.  I am not joking!!!   

Since we received the first container of Hot Box Detox Saunas a few weeks ago, we are shipping units out to Ohio, Utah, Texas, Florida and we have orders for international Planet Beach locations as well, such as Panama in Central America!  The very first two units were recently installed in the original Planet Beach location in Uptown New Orleans on Tchoupitoulas Street.
