Brightway Insurance Grows Customer Service and Business Analytics Teams. Adds depth to areas key to franchisee growth

Shelonda Prince and David Skinner havejoined the Brightway Insurance team in Jacksonville as Customer Service Managerand Business Analytics Project Manager, respectively, the company announced. Brightwayis a national property/casualty insurance retailer selling through franchisedlocations. Key differentiators in the Brightway system are the service providedafter the sale by its Service Center, and reports provided by its BusinessAnalytics team that helps each franchisee better understand key metrics anddevelop plans to grow their agencies as quickly as possible. Prince brings withher over 15 years of Operations leadership, most recently at NGA HumanResources, where she was responsible for 10 clients. In that role, sheintroduced process improvements that resulted in $700,000 in cost savings.

 

Prince earned her bachelor’s inBusiness Administration from the University of Washington and holds a GreenBelt Certification in Six Sigma. At Brightway, she is responsible for theday-to-day operations of the more than 120-person Service Center that providesall service after the sale that is key to the company’s retention of customers.Skinner brings with him over 15 years of project management experience, mostrecently with the Garden City Group and Kurtzman Carson Consultants. In bothroles, he developed processes and procedures and oversaw execution of complexclaims processing projects in which success was measured by speed to market,accuracy of payments and customer satisfaction. Skinner earned his bachelor’sdegree in Accounting from the University of North Florida.

 

At Brightway, Skinner will managecomplex projects that deliver key performance metrics to franchisees in waysthat help them better understand their business and their opportunities togrow. “We are thrilled to be adding experienced professionals like Shelonda andDavid to our Home Office team,” said Talman Howard, president of Brightway.“Their experience, mixed with our existing team’s insights into the business,will be a powerful combination as we work every day to provide the highestlevel of service to our franchisees and our customers.” Brightway beganfranchising operations in 2008, is privately owned and operates 115 franchise locationsin eight states.
