Veteran and Minority Franchise Program

Captain D’s offers a Veterans and Minority Franchise Program for U.S. citizens who are veterans of the United States Armed Forces or minorities, and who otherwise meet our minimum franchise requirements.

Upon application approval, a veteran or minority franchisee will pay only one-half of the Franchise Fee at the time of the signing of the Development Agreement for the applicant’s first seafood restaurant. We will defer the balance of the Franchise Fee for that first agreement until the second anniversary of the opening date of the Captain D’s restaurant under the agreement, or until the termination or transfer of the agreement if that occurs prior to the second anniversary.

Royalties for the first Captain D’s restaurant opened by a franchisee under the program will be discounted for the first two years of operations and the current royalty rate provided for the franchisee’s Franchise Agreement thereafter. The Veterans and Minority Franchise Program applies only to the first restaurant opened by a veteran or minority franchisee.
