Petroleum: One of the Most Exciting Opportunities Available Today
Omega Energy, an Indiana Corporation, is an independent energy company engaged in oil and gas exploration, development and production. We currently participate in these activities through the interests we hold in oil and gas exploration and development projects in the Illinois Basin.See What We Are All About When you become an Omega Energy Partner, you are investing in a family with a local history and reputation in the oil business. The oil and gas experience of the members of Omega's executive management team and key independent contractors spans 60 combined years. Omega's strategy is to pursue an aggressive developmental drilling program covering over 80,000 acres in Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. We are currently seeking Partners to grow Omega Energy’s Development funds. The funds will be utilized to drill, complete and produce our wells. The success of Omega Energy is fully aligned with the success of Omega's Development funds and we are fully committed to establishing long-term relationships with our Partners based on the highest ethical standards, integrity and professionalism Increasing World Energy DemandDeveloping countries are industrializing at previously unimaginable rates without the capacity to supply their own energy demand. The last down cycle left the industry very cautious with exploration and development investments, leading to a persistent underinvestment in production capacity since the mid-80s, with much of the drilling and production infrastructure permanently retired. No new major, "elephant" oil reserves have been discovered in recent decades, even as existing major fields continue to deplete. Why Join Us? While some people have historically invested in oil or natural gas as a tax shelter, most people investing in oil or natural gas do so because they believe the venture will be profitable. This belief is often based on simple laws of supply and demand. The supply of oil is limited while the demand for oil has continued to increase. A limited supply and an increase in demand generally results in an increase in the price and profits for the persons owning that supply. In the United States, and most other nations, oil is the principal resource that fuels the economy. The reason for this is simple: Nearly everything consumers have or do is in some way related directly or indirectly to petroleum from gas for the family car and electricity to power lighting and appliances to plastic bottles and containers and petroleum jelly. Oil is big business. Why Invest in the Illinois Basin? The Illinois Basin has over 60 pay zones (depths in which oil has been produced). It has produced over 4.5 billion barrels of oil and has 4.1 billion barrels in estimated future recoverable reserves. The Basin currently produces around 15.2 million barrels of oil annually and has a 36% overall recovery efficiency which is the highest in onshore development within the U.S. Annual Oil and Gas production from the Illinois Basin is valued at over $3.5 Billion.
A Proven System of OperationAt Omega Energy, we invest in the development and production of properties with proven or probable commercial reserves of oil and gas. In order to qualify as an Omega Prospect, a lease must first undergo an extensive geological survey that takes into account both surface and subsurface geology. Our team of Certified Petroleum Geologists utilizes the very latest advancements in Production Geology, including 3D seismic and advanced computer modeling. We utilize the same methods as the Big Oil Corporations do to discover new commercial fields. Now is a Great Time to Join Us…Omega Energy is currently seeking Partners who would like to take advantage of the world’s need for energy by investing in our aggressive developmental drilling program that covers over 80,000 acres in Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky. |
