Our Town America Franchising

Our Town America is the nations Premiere Welcoming Organization. Since 1972, we’ve been providing new movers with traditional hospitality by mailing warm gifts from neighborhood businesses in a premium gift certificate package. Thousands of satisfied business owners throughout the United States attest to the success and effectiveness of our program, while dozens of locally owned Our Town franchises validate our success as a viable business opportunity.

The Our Town America Franchise program includes start-up training with a comprehensive 5-day training course at the corporate office (St Petersburg, FL or an approved franchisee training facility) with on-going support including weekly conference calls, Regional Director assistance, where applicable, intranet and our conventions. This can be a home-based business or larger office based, and we offer $10,000 off our franchise fee for honorably discharged veterans.

What Do Franchisees Do?

Our franchisees sell and service local business owners into our community new mover program. Our Franchisees SELL Our Town America participation to businesses. It is rare that a prospect calls us. Franchisees prospect, via phone and in person, to local businesses in their market. Our territories are manageable for a one person sales organization, though some franchisees will wish to develop more areas and field a sales staff. We will work with you to see which is the right decision for you. Our franchisees SERVICE their Sponsors. As in any partnership (between franchises and their sponsors), it is essential to maintain a relationship with on-going communication for a long term future.

Once the sales are made, Our Town Corporate handles the rest!

How Do Franchisees Work?
  • Our franchisees are typically full-time in the business. We have found that our business, while allowing for family and life opportunities, does require a full-time commitment and has the ability to provide income that can support it.
  • Our franchise investment is $47,500. A total of approximately $73,000 in liquid assets is recommended.
  • Our franchisees do not need to maintain an inventory nor do they need a production facility. All production is performed at our
  • corporate headquarters located in Pinellas Park, FL.
  • Our franchisees can easily work from a home office.
