ColorTyme Franchise Owner to take another run for Children’s Hospital | ColorTyme Franchise Owner to take another run for Children’s Hospital. North East Rental Dealers Association donates $5,000 in support.

BOSTON, Mass. – Dec. 2010 – Al Coelho has hit the ground running to pull together sponsors for his Boston Marathon race benefiting Children’s Hospital Boston. To kick off his second year of support, Coelho recently joined fellow North East Rental Dealers Association members Ray Bird, Mark Anderson and Mark Key in presenting $5,000 to the “Miles for Miracles” fundraiser.

“We are proud to show our faith in Children’s Hospital Boston and give gratitude for the life-changing care they provide,” said Bird, vice president of NERDA and ColorTyme owner with Coelho. “We offer this donation to extend Al’s personal mission in honoring the children, families and staff at the hospital.”

Children’s Hospital Boston - “Miles for Miracles” encourages individuals to participate in athletic events to raise money for patient care, treatment and research. In 2010, Coelho was recognized as the program’s 8th largest donor, contributing more than $14,500.

“Last year, with the help of the NERDA and individual donations made by friends, family and co-workers, I was about to raise more money than I even thought possible. I’m more than confident that we can exceed that amount this year,” said Coelho. “When you think about the children that are given hope every day thanks to the work of Children’s Hospital Boston, it’s not hard to find the encouragement to give.”

Coelho’s goal is to raise $25,000 by April 18, the day of the race. To support his cause and donate to Children’s Hospital Boston, please visit
