. The 50 companies featured on the list were selected from hundreds of franchisors who completed a questionnaire describing the specific financial incentives they provide veterans. The results of the survey were featured in the April 9, 2010 issue of USA Today in the “Franchising Today” section, which was widely disseminated at the 2010 International Franchise Expo (IFE) in Washington D.C.

This award is due in-part to Allegra Network’s support for military veterans through the VetFran program. VetFran is a voluntary program organized through the International Franchise Association and its member-companies, and is designed to encourage franchise ownership
by offering financial incentives to honorably discharged veterans. As VetFran participants for more than five years, Allegra Network reduces its franchise fee by 25 percent for qualifying veterans who meet the requirements of the VetFran Program. In the last six years, 10 percent of Allegra and Signs Now new franchise members have benefited from the VetFran program.
