Bookkeeping Express ‘Balances’ Las Vegas’ Small Business’ Need for Certified Services with Grand Opening of First Area Office | Franchise Company Bookkeeping Express ‘Balances’ Las Vegas’ Small Business’ Need for Certified Services with Grand Opening of First Area Office

Local Entrepreneur Brings Nation’s Leading Bookkeeping Franchise to Las Vegas; Expands to offer Nearly 73,000 Area Small Businesses Professional Bookkeeping Services

LAS VEGAS, NV – (August 19, 2009) – Bookkeeping Express, the first U.S. franchise focused solely on bookkeeping services, announced today the opening of its first office in Las Vegas and across the state. The new office is located at 9550 S. Eastern Ave. in Henderson, and will primarily service the Metropolitan Las Vegas and Henderson communities.

“I am thrilled about providing professional bookkeeping services to the Metropolitan Las Vegas and Henderson communities. A void exists locally for skilled bookkeeping services that focus on the small business community,” said Kevin Finley, owner of the new Bookkeeping Express office. “As an entrepreneur, I am excited about becoming part of the Bookkeeping Express family and utilizing the brand’s experience in the industry and their proven business model to help small business owners focus on growing their business.”

Finley’s professional experience includes more than 15 years with the Gaming Control Board, where he currently serves as the Deputy Chief of the Tax and License Division. He has been with the Tax and License Division since 1998 and before that worked as an agent in the Audit Division. Finley is following his entrepreneurial dreams to become a business owner with his investment in the Bookkeeping Express business. Finley has been a Certified Public Accountant in Nevada since 1997, and is also a Certified Fraud Examiner.

With more than 73,000 small businesses in the Las Vegas area, Bookkeeping Express offers a much-needed service to companies that are not equipped or do not wish to handle accounting responsibilities such as setting up charts of accounts and general ledgers, monthly data entry, processing and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, producing monthly reports and tax reporting. Plus, Bookkeeping Express utilizes a Custom Flex Pricing Model that is based on the clients’ needs instead of a one fits all, hourly billing approach.

The expansion into the Las Vegas area is part of the company’s aggressive national franchise development strategy, which calls for more than 400 new offices. Franchise and corporate locations currently exist in a number of states across the U.S., including: Indiana, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, and Maryland.

“The small business community is growing in Nevada, and Bookkeeping Express is expanding with it,” said Greg Jones, CEO of Bookkeeping Express and former 1981 Penn State University football team captain. “We are looking to grow with franchise partners such as Kevin who are serious about owning a business and sincere about their desire to fill a void in their communities with our distinctive services.”

As part of the Bookkeeping Express franchise model, all locations will offer the BKE Connect system, which allows businesses access to all bookkeeping files remotely through an outside server, as well as a dashboard that clearly and visually ‘sums’ up the business’ operations for thorough analysis. Two options available to Bookkeeping Express investors include Master or Area Development territories that can be operated out of home-based or commercial space locations; per territory start-up fees run under $50,000.
